I stand with you on the desire for a moratorium on losing any more brilliant minds... This one really saddened me. Jim Carroll represented the New York auteur so very well and he will be missed. When I thought of him I thought of that city in all of its beauty and truth. He conveyed that in his words and in his music in ways that no other artist has even come close.
RIP Jim Carroll.
